This is a special and rare Christmas Holiday sterling silver spoon created by Howard Sterling Company dating 1878-1902. The top of the handle portrays Santa Claus atop a chimney with his bag of toys slung over his shoulder with the word Christmas going down the front of the handle. The bowl of the spoon which has a nice gold wash portrays Mary, Joseph, and Baby Jesus in the manger with a lamb and a three wise men bearing gifts. under the North Star. The words \"Peace on Earth and Good Will to Men\" is on the top of the bowl. The spoon measures 5.75\" long and the bowl is 1.25\" x 2\". This is a beautiful spoon in excellent condition. There is almost no tarnish and only a minor scuff on the bottom. There is no monogram or date on the spoon.This item is from my father\'s estate and has been in the family for many years. I am a private party (not a business) and I have described this spoon to the best of my ability.
