This is a very pretty older vase. The maker is ErPhila of Czecho-Slovakia, which stands for Ebeling and Reuss. The red makers mark on the underside indicates that the piece was made between 1918 and 1921. This particular mark was used for their imported items. In the early 1900\'s the company relocated to Devon, Pa; and they did a very large amount of import sales. The vase is in good condition, with no chips, cracks, or scratches. All the paint is fine on the body, there is some minor gold loss amongst the fine gold trim. There is some minor crazing to the naked eye, but only on the bottom surface. The body has no crazing to the naked eye. The floral chintz pattern is colorful and bright, and quite striking as it is done on a cream colored background. The vase stands 6 and an 1/8 in tall, and the top opening is 4 and an 1/8 in wide. It measures 13 in all the way around at the widest part, and the weight is just about a pound. This is a lovely older piece, which is reminiscent of times long ago past. I imagine collectors and enthusiasts would love to own it.
