This item is an antique wooden miniature glove powderer. Presumably

for travel and carried in a purse. The cap unscrews to reveal a dowel

in the middle of the base. The cap, when in place, is seated on that

dowel to stop the flow of powder. A twist of the cap allows the powder

to be shaken out. The condition of the piece is excellent (see pictures).

This wonderful small collectible is 2 1/4 inches high with a 1 inch diameter.
