This is a stunningly large antique late 19th century solid bronze Victorian desk top inkwell/pen holder.it is extremely ornate, made of thick heavy bronze, and has acquired a wonderful patina from age.it isbeautifully footed with ornate scroll feet and serves several purposes.it is an inkwell, a pen holder, and also a dish for desk items.it has a stunning dual inkwell which areequally as ornate as the rest f thepiece and arelidded.they open and close on hinges and have wonderful bronze pointed finials.the ink goes right in these jars, it does not use glass or any other inserts.behind the inkwell jars is the pen holder which tapers up and is extremely ornate.in the front is the tray which has heavily embossed floral detailing.it is in great shape andmeasures 9 1/4 inches wide by 9 1./2 inches back to front and stands 4inches tall.Thank you for visiting \"Dusty Treasures \" and please feel free to browse through

buyer is responsible to file insurance claims via USPS, if package arrives broken or damaged, due to USPS\'s new policies the broken or damaged package has to be present when filing claims.
