Sheffield: ATKIN BROTHERS - SUPERB & RARE - 7 troy oz.

This is a lovely ANTIQUE EDWARDIANsolid sterling silver table crumb scoop or catcher which was made in Sheffield, England in 1905 by the illustrious Victorian silversmiths,Atkin Brothersat their Matilda Street workshops. It is 12 1/2\" long and 2 3/4\" wide across the blade. It is NOT engraved. It is very substantial - this piece weighs in at217.7 grams -virtually 7troy oz.

It is in very good condition with less than the usual light surface scratching, NO dents or splits and NO dings - SUPERB. The handle is firm with one crack to the side and a little staining. It is hallmarked to the scoop with HA, crown, lion passant (sterling silver assay mark),lshowing that it was hallmarked in Sheffield in 1905. I have shown the hallmark so that you can make up your own mind.A stunning and rare ANTIQUE EDWARDIANcrumb scoop at a very low start!!! - so very rare to find one in solid silver rather than in silver plate and in such superb condition after 110 years!!!!. Postage will be FREE within the UK and from 5.50GBP to international destinations.
