CENTURYFILIGREE PILL BOX----------There are no hallmarks or maker`s mark, whichis usual with filigree work----------This is a superb, oval box, which has been very well made.The top fits the base, perfectly, and the lid lifts witha solitary ball thumb catch - see pics. 3 & 5.------------On the underside is a small, circular, vacant cartouche - see pic. 4.------------In very near original condition, with no apparent wear,and no damage.------------Measures:- 49 x 36 millimetres / 1.9 x 1.375 inches.Depth:- 21 millimetres / 0.8 inches.
