This is an old, early sculpture with lots of accessories and would date from around end of 19th century or early 20th Century. Beautifuldynamic sculpture! She is holding enameled chrysanthemum flowers. Very detailed work on the metal. The metal is spelter, with original polychrome finish; Beautiful and charming! The finish on the metal may show some wear consistent with age with shabby charming peely look ; The sculpture is signed by artist Par Rancoulet, and the subject is \"Chrysanthème\" ; French origin; I believe it was a lamp base at some point, I see there is a hole fro the electrical pipe at the back of the sculpture - see close up photos; can be still converted back into a lamp or just enjoyed the way it is.
