Up for your consideration is this genuine Steiff teddy bear. We were very fortunate to have a friend on Facebook whose niece works for the Steiff Corporation. I sent her pictures of this bear. She had it looked at and said the insurance replacement value alone is $500 and the collector value could be more. He was brought into our shop by the original owner who inherited him from her Mother. He has never been bought or sold until now. Please notice the wear due to lots of love. My buyer said he was in good condition for the age. He appears to be hand sewn as you can see from the front seam. He has his original pads and from what I can tell, the original stitching on the paws and nose. His little ears have some threads showing. He has a hump back which has been squished a bit from lots of play. Because of his rarity, I am not going to snip any threads or clean him. I\'ve taken as many photos as possible so you can see every detail. I will ship him securely in a large box and wrap him safely in one of our antique linens.
