Antique Silver BasketThis sale is for a really fine and very well made antique sterling silver decorative basket that includes the original glass insert. The rare basket is embossed with a wonderful flower wreath design on the outside and it has a hinged bail handle at the top. It measures about 6½" tall to the top of the basket without the handle, so it’s a rather large piece. It’s marked sterling but I didn’t find a maker’s mark. Without the glass insert it weighs 410.1 grams so it’s nice and heavy. In excellent condition and guaranteed as described! Glass insert does have a small chip on the edge.
