Antique Sterling Silver Butter Knives Mother of Pearl Handles English (#8709):

Antique Set of 6 butter knives in original, fitted box. Sterling silver and mother of pearl. Made in Sheffield, England, 1918.
Measurements: length a little under 6 inches (5 7/8inches) (approximately 15cm long).
Extremely elegant butter knives. Flaring sterling silver blades making it easy to spread the butter. Collars are also in sterling silver. Handles are beautiful, natural mother of pearl. Come in original, fitted case, which is somewhat worn on the outside (see pictures).
Marks: blades are marked with Crown (for Sheffield town), lion (for sterling silver) date letter \'a\' for 1918 and an oval reserve with GGR, which is the maker. The collars have the same hallmarks.
Condition: good with minor wear commensurate with age. Please see detailed pictures.
