For sale is an antique Art Deco lovely compact/powder tin/pill box/trinket box

Marked STERLING silver with an oval link-chain and 24mm diameter ring end attached under the hinge, measuring 4\" in total length. The lid features an engine-turned design with icy blue enamel. Opens to reveal a glass disc inside with powder residue on the back, reading CHARMANT SPECIALTY CO INC. This disc is sitting loosely at the bottom of the compartment; the underside of the lid and bottom of the compartment are stamped with the number 229. The silver is heavily tarnished, a few shallow creases and dings along the sidewall and bottom, a chipped crescent-shape segment of the clear enamel top coat, the blue enamel underneath is complete.
