Features: This is a very nice antique heavy dagger with sheath for battledress. Likely made from later 1700\'s to 1810 to possibly up to 1860\'s . ALLmade of approx sterling silverexcept blade, of course . Also, has a little goldinlay .It\'s likely east of Europe toAsian in origin yet many of theBritish solderswore these types of imports of theirbattle dresses from late 1700\'sto earlier1800\'s as seen in the Battle of Waterloo.Beautifullyhandcrafted with veryimpressive earlier smithworkmanship in an eyecatching hand chased detail . Has 2 fastening loupes .It\'s superheavy . Total weighs 256.3grams . Total silver alone is approx 200 gramswithantiquityvalue much higher as Irecall frommanyyears ago, seeing even later ones ,selling from$2000 to $7000insalehouses .It came fromour family heirloom\'sPRE-1900\'santique collectionofvery old artifacts.
