Exquisite sterling repousse\' brushes ca 1880-1900. Repousse\' is a very time consuming technique where the silver is blown out from behind leaving a raised decoration of flowers, foliage and scrollwork. Larger brush measures 5\" x 1.5\" with deeply blown out roses, smaller is 4\" x 1.5\", made by Unger Bros with swirling Art Nouveau lady and flowers. Both marked \"sterling\". Good condition.
