An old Sterling Silver Tray.
Impressed on the back, \"Sterling\" \"Galt & Bro\" \"Washington\". Galt & Bro. was the oldest jewelry store in Washington D.C., in business for almost 200 years. They served many presidents, including President Lincoln and President Kennedy. The firm closed in 2001.
The tray is 7 1/8\" long x 3 1/2\" wide, not including the ring handle. It weighs 83 grams of Sterling.
The tray has a monogram, \"RAF\" - the initials of Richard F. Allen, Vice Chairman of the American Red Cross during WW II.
Great little serving dish to use and display for the coming Holidays.
