Up for sale is an Antique Solid Sterling Silver brooch with bird and wreath in the middle.
- The brooch is in overall good antique condition.
- It has an old C-clasp closure, the pin is slightly bent in the middle, possibly was replaced sometimes ago as it opens under angle, please see photos for details.
- The brooch on the front and back looks fine and there\'s no visible dents, it is slightly bent in the middle, possibly it was intended like this to create a 3D effect of the bird.
- Apart from the above mentioned the brooch doesn\'t have any other damage.
- The brooch is in bar shape with bird and flower wreath in the middle.
- The brooch is hallmarked on the back with a full set of English marks for Sterling Silver which are a bit worn: \'shield\' for Chester Assay Office, \'lion passant\' for Sterling Silver, what looks like date letter \'o\' for 1914.
- The brooch measures approx. 4 cm long and 1 cm at its widest point. It weighs approx. 1.8 grams on my scales.
