This is a fantastic find. Antique baby/Childs set. Set consists of cereal bowl and plate. Set is sterling silver and clearly marked on both pieces. Bowl has straight sides and a molded rim measuring 1 7/8in x 4 1/8in.Plate also has a molded rim and measures 1 1/2in x 5 7/8in.Acid etched frames depict exotic animals including a polar bear, rhino, zebra, leopard, stag ,fox,lynx,seal,doe,badger,hyena,lion, and tiger.Approximate weight is 281 grams.Pieces have the McChesney mark.McChesney was co-founder of Kerr silver.These pieces are much more like the Kerr pieces as apposed to McChesney silver pieces.
