ANTIQUE 1/2 GALLONBROWN SALT GLAZESTONEWARE CROCK
This isa nice harder to find one half gallon sizebrown salt glazecirca1890crock that measures 7-1/4\" tall with a diameter of 7-3/4\" at thetop and 5-1/8\" at the bottom.It features:
- a nice variablebrown salt glaze on the exterior
- an Albany style glazed interior
- a 3/4\"wide top rim
- an incised decoration 1\" below the top rim
- potter\'s finger grooves visible inside
The crock is in excellent condition with no cracks or chips.
A terrific example of a utilitarian piece of late 19th century pottery!
