A beautiful sterling silver care case.It is hallmarked for sterling along with other marks including what looks to be French import touch marks.I suspect it was made in Switzerland and imported into France.It dates to c1900-1910. It has a stunning Art Nouveau design being decorated with stylised cyclamen flowers. The inside has been gilded and the lid is sprung rather like a vesta case so closes automatically.It is in super condition being free from dings, splits, holes, and repairs.A very beautiful example.
It measures almost 3.5 inches (8.7cms) by 2 inches (5cms)Weighs 51 grams.
The condition is very good with only some little wear from use.
