Nice Replica 18th C Antique sword carried during the 1600 and 1700\'s this sword was also called a \"hanger\" the term \"Cutlass\" wasn\'t used until the 1800\'s It was commonly used by officers as a close quarters battle weapon.

All cast brasssemi basket hiltwithheart shape. Nice tough carbon steel bladewith a fullerjust like the early version! Non sharpened, just a dull edge... Greatbrass and black leather scabbard included.
