Antique Svenskt Tenn Pewter Dish Swedish Josef Frank Art Deco Date Mark 1933:

A classic Art Deco pewter plate marked by Svenskt Tenn, the well-known Swedish company. There is an etched or engraved design in the center of the platter. It appears to be a design very similar to those of Josef Frank. These designs are usually seen on textiles, and they are still popular and available today. The handles are distinctive. The plate has some condition issues, but I\'m thinking that it is worthy of restoration. The rim on one side near the handle is pushed over slightly, but I think it could be straightened out. There are dark spots that need deeper cleaning. I have left most of the underside uncleaned. The patina part of its history can be seen. G8 date mark for 1933.8 and 1/4 inch diameter.
Added note - This plate came to me with a fairly dark patina on the handles. After cleaning them a bit, I came to the opinion that originally the handles would have been clean for a true Art Deco look. Since taking the first photographs, I have cleaned the handles more, and have added a closeup photo. I think the handles need more cleaning, but that would be up to the new owner.
