Antique TINY 1876 Centennial 13 STAR MEDALLION Muslin Parade Flag - Patriotic #1- This old American Parade Flag is excellentcondition. This Flag dates from 1876 and the Centennial Celebrations that took place in the US - a great time of our history. The Flag itself looks to be made of starched or stiff muslin (sometimes referred to as gauze) and is nice and clean for the age of the Flag- 138 years old!. This Flag measures about 3.25\" inches across - approx 2\" tall, and with the pole it measures approx 6\" inches in length. It is a parade Flag which was used by any individual at a parade - most likely the celebration of the Centennial. It is on the original pole it came on - hard to find in this original condition. There is the expected age staining present. A neat piece of American history. We have a few others that were purchased together and will be listed now and a few days from now.
