Offered for sale is a wonderful child\'s parlor croquet set. The box measures 13\" long, 6\" wide and 2 3/4\" tall. The lid slides on and off. The edges of the lid (that fit into the side grooves) have worn or partially broken off. Once the lid is in place it is fine, but it no longer slides as it originally did. The box itself has one back edge missing. See photo four and five.Some of the wire brackets are probably replacements. You get everything shown. It was all in the box. Not sure what the cloth is for - maybe it made a playing perimeter. Those 4 odd brackets may have something to do with that too. I think the maker is R. Buss - it is on the lower corner of the lid picture. The mallets are 10 1/2\" long. The wooden balls are about 1 1/2\" in diameter. This isn\'t perfect, but it is a neat old set.
