Offering for sale this THREE BIG JACKS penny dropgambling machine trade stimulator circa the 1930s. I believe it was made by theFields company.

Jacks machines (named for their large visible jackpots)came in a number of varieties and were produced by several makers in the early30s and 40s. They all share a verysimple design principle of having the player flick the coin into a nail-coveredplayfield – hoping to have the coin land in a slot that would release ajackpot.

This is a nice specimen overall – having a simple woodcabinet that appears to have been refinished 20-30 years ago. The casting isfree of cracks or chips and has a very nice patina. There is an older lock and key for the backdoor. The internal mechanism appears oldand all original and is in fine working condition.
