Tiffany Studios New York 322 patinated bronze table lamp, featuring
a contemporary Favrile glass shade, on top of a three-armed base, ca. 1910.

Base marked TIFFANY STUDIOS NEW YORK 322. The base retains its original patina and is in perfect condition. It has its original socket,
original bakelite turn key which is stamped with the GE symbol, and its original plug. Lamp has been rewired with silk covered cord.In Robert Koch\'s book - LOUIS C. TIFFANY\'S GLASS BRONZE LAMPS - on page 133 - he describes the lamp as such Electric Lamp Base
No. 322 with blown favrile glass shade. A note indicates that this base was designed by Alvin J. Tuck for Mrs H. Evans of 20 Fifth Avenue, New York City. It was the first Tuck design to become a stock item at Tiffany Studios. Measurements: To the top of socket 10 3/4 inches. Base is 5 1/4 inches in diameter & has what it locks a pomegranate pattern along its edges.
With the shade & finial the lamp measures 14 1/4 inches. The shade is 6 3/4 inches in diameter, 3 3/4 inches tall and shows a 2 1/4 inches Fitter.

The shade was made by a glass blower in Woodstock, New York. It has a lovely gold and red iridescence with a green swirl iridescent King Tut design.
When lit the shade displays a beautiful warm golden glow.The finial or shade cap is old but I\'m not sure whether it is Tiffany or not.
