( the fixture is damaged as you can see in the picture and IS NOT INCLUDED UNLESS YOU USE THE BUY IT NOW OPTION !! . The Sconce is not original Tiffany Studios the SHADE IS ORIGINAL TIFFANY STUDIOS. !!!
Up for sale is this very rare original and authentic early Tiffany Studios New York bronze and glass shade for a Wall sconce . You may see them every few year but you very very rarely find them signed .We very strongly believe the original Tiffany wall sconce shade has its original greenish patina . The glass panels are loose as they should be , but they are all secure .( it is exactly as it should be .) the shade is signed as shown in the photos with a very very small applied ( and integrated) original tag : Tiffany Studios New York - it is very difficult to see but it is there .The Sade is approx. 8.5 inches from end to end and approx. 6.25 Inches at the tallest .the is no breakage on the glass . There is a crack on the metal as shown in the last and second to last picture . It does not impact the stability of the shade in any way and does not appear new . It is in wonderful condition and worthy to be included in a advanced collection . The shade is all original . Please see Kaminsky sale lot 980 from Sept 28 2008 where a pair of the identical shade ( unsigned and the sconces not having the original patina .)
This is a truly wonderful shade with beautiful glass that really glows when held to a light .
