THIS PIECE HAS ELEMENTS WHICH ARE INDICITIVE OF THE FRENCH ROCOCO. \"LES CERISES\" (MEANING, THE CHERRIES) PAR FERRAND WAS AN ARTIST FROM THE 18TH/19TH CENTURY ERA. IT DEPICTS 2 PUTTI OR CHERUBS JOYFULLY REACHING FOR CHERRIES. THE IDEA OF CHERRIES RELATES TO THE FRUIT AS WELL AS THE YOUTHFUL EXUBERANCE OF THE FIGURES IN THE SCULPTURE. IT STANDS 7\" TALL.
