This Civil War tin toy drum is a unique and rare collectible that is still in amazing antique condition after 108 years! The colors are bright and bold depicting lithographed scenes from the U.S. Civil War. The twine may have been replaced at some point... I can\'t tell for sure. There are dents and dings as well as some surface rust as pictured. The drum measures 9 inches in diameter and is 5 1/2 inches tall. The outer rim is marked with the name \"Converse\", a maker of children\'s toys around the turn of the century and dated \"July 20, 09\" making this awesome piece more than a century old! What a great addition to your antique toy collection!
