1 authentic antique early 1800\'s U.S. model 1818 Cavalry sword available. This U.S. Cavalry sword would make an important addition to any office, den, or business; and would make a fine addition to any collection.

This U.S. Cavalry sword was made by N. Starr. The blade ricasso is perfectly stamped \'US P LS N.STARR\'. This early 19th century sword has a leather-covered wood handle. The sword blade measures 32\" long. There is no scabbard with this sword.

Condition:
This vintage early 1800\'s U.S. Cavalry sword is in nice condition. The handle is in excellent condition. The leather handle cover is still 80% complete--even after all of this time. The metal guard is covered in oxidation. As can be seen in the additional photos at the bottom of this listing, some oxidation was cleaned off a portion of the underside of the guard. The blade is perfectly straight. There is almost no pitting on the blade--most of the blade is covered with only carbon patina. Everything is nice and tight on this early sword.
This authentic U.S. Model 1818 Cavalry sword would make an important addition to any collection.
