Up for sale is a really exceptional and very rare antique Pre-Civil War Waltham Appleton Tracy key wind pocket watch!It is an 1859 model,made in 1860, and is size 18. Itis all original apart from the case, andhas a high grade 15 jewel movement that has a very rare reversible center pinion. It is in excellent condition and was recently serviced to run great. The coin silver case is in excellent condition.
Serviced: This watch was fully serviced on October 12th, 2017 to run well and keep good time. It was fully disassembled, all parts were cleaned and oiled, and a new unbreakable mainspring was installed, then it was adjusted to keep good time.Movement: This watch runs great and keeps very good time. The beautiful all original key wind movement is in excellent condition and has 15 jewels, adjusted. It has gold balance weights and is a very rare 1859 model with reversible center pinion! This is an exceptional and beautiful movement!
Dial: The original dial is in very good condition with just some fine hairlines.
Case: The beautiful coin silver Hunter\'s case is in excellent condition, but is not the original. It has no issues and the lids open and close as they should. This rare and exquisite watch is ready to display or carry!
