Wonderful largecomposition bunnycandy container carrying a stick & wooden cart with 2 candy container paper Mache eggs, cotton mushroom, and cotton acorn.
Large 8 \" H x 7 1/2\" L bunny is painted brown and tan with black stripe on back and ears. He has a removable head, glass eyes, and a raffia ribbon I tied around his neck and can be removed. He has Germany stamped on his belly.The cart is shaped like a carriage and has 4 red wooden wheels , a red base, and brown wood spindles.Inside the cart is brown moss, 2 small paper Mache candy container eggs, a cotton acorn , and cotton mushroom. The cart poles do not attach to the bunny , they just slide against him. The bottom of the cart is stamped made in Japan. The poles are new and recently painted and glued into the top of the cart. There is one broken/missing wood spindle in the front of the cart.Cart is approx. 13 1/2 \" L with poles and 3 1/4 \" W wheel to wheel. The entire piece is approx.. 15\" L as displayed.
The bunny has some paint loss/rub off . He has a hairline surface crack onthe neck of his head andwhat appear to be surfacescratches in the same area on the left side of head. He has a chip on the back of his right ear and a small chip onback neck area of body. The cardboard inside his head maybe a replacement piece as it looks a bit newer.
Bunny egg in front is German and has some missing outer and inner trim. It has some green stains inside. It is approx. 2 1/2 \" L. The second egg has a bunny house on it and has full inside trim. Little string hanger at top has come detached on one side. Tiny tear inside. No markings.Very clean inside and is approx. 3 \" L. The cotton acorn is 2\" L and has some separation on the outside layer. The cotton mushroom is 1 3/4\" L and has a tiny hole and few surface cracks on top and some separation of cotton on bottom.
Wonderful large Easter table/buffet centerpiece.
