St.Nicholas !!!1700 with later 19thC basma added 33x25x2.5cm Panel with inscribed title on reverse in Cyrillic. Unrestored slats missing ! 2kgThis Old Orthodox icon was painted of 17-18th century ( middle of the 17-18 century) .The wooden panel was covered with levkas . Background was covered with the leaf silver. The icon was painted then with egg tempera,the leaf silver served as an imitation of the leaf gold.The icon is in very good state of preservation and has a high artistic, antique and sacral significance.Icon from a private collection.
