Antique Victorian 14k or 18k Yellow Gold Pink Sapphire & Pink Topaz Bracelet:

Hello there and welcome to my sale!!! Please find up for your consideration a beautiful antique bracelet- fully tested for at least 14k gold- but could be 18k. The two outside stones are natural pink topaz and the middle stone is a pink sapphire. All three stones were tested by the refractive index method by my jeweler. It\'s not clear to them if the pink sapphire is a natural stone or a synthetic stone- one jeweler told me it was a natural sapphire from Burma and another told me it could be synthetic- I\'m not sure who to believe. It seems that this bracelet was made from two antique pieces of jewelry that were put together to make a very unique piece.

There are marks on the bracelet part of the piece that have French hallmarks on it. We think the piece with the 3 pink stones (the gold is more yellow and more elaborate) could have been part of a felt choker as was popular in the day. The bracelet (more of a rose gold) has some tarnishing on it and could be cleaned up with some silver polish. It has a safety chain to insure you don\'t loose this important piece! The clasp fitting on the bracelet is a tight fit- so it will not come apart once you close the ends and the bracelet measures about 6.5 inches long and weighs about 1 oz.
