Antique Victorian solid 14k yellow gold engraved Needle, Sewing or What-not Trinket case for perhaps a Chatelaine, we\'re just not exactly sure what this is. Has a fixed bail with jump ring, marked 14k on the inside cover lip with a maker\'s mark. Measures 4.5\" tall to the bail, with the bottom 17.56 mm wide. Has a hinged cover on the bottom. Superbly hand etched and engraved with the most beautiful scroll floral design. The front also has initials. In very good condition with just some light wear on the metal, a tiny ding on the cover. Weighs 16.39 dwt or 25.48 grams. Unusual, old and rare. Please ask questions and see the photos; if you need more pictures, please message us. Ships free.
