A stunning Victorian Art Nouveau 15ct Gold Amethyst & Seed Pearl Holbein (Pendant/Brooch), which dates to c1895(please study the detailed close-up photographs provided, which form an integral part of this item\'s description).
This wonderful antique Pendant/Brooch has a centrally set oval Amethyst as it\'s focal point, which is millegrain set surrounded by fine Seed Pearlsin a beautifulstylizedtrefoil openwork design based on a \'heart motif\'.This sublimely beautiful Pendant terminates with a pear shaped Amethyst Drop that compliments the central stone perfectly.
Crafted as a Holbein thisis such a versatile piece of jewellery; being capable of being worn either as a Brooch or as a Pendant - just as you desire. Typical of the period, this fine quality Art Nouveau Pendant/Brooch is stamped \'15ct\' on the reverse to confirm that it is made from solid 15ct Gold. This wonderful Victorian Holbein only requires the addition of a chain should you wish to wear it as a Pendant.
