A rare & very fine quality Victorian 15ct Gold Almandine Garnet, Turquoise Cabochons & Seed Pearl set ring c1875(please study the detailed close-up photographs provided, which form an integral part of theitem\'s description).
This wonderful ring is centrally set with an oval Almandine Garnet (approx\' 6mm by 4mm)surroundedby small Turqquoise cabochons and larger Seed Pearls to create an oval gem set bezel (approx\' 12mm by 10mm) that is quite simply sublime.
Typical of the period this stunning ring hasbeautifullydecorated shoulders, which contrasts perfectly with the plain band.The ring is hallmarked confirming that it is made from solid 15ct Gold, but the date letter and town mark have been lost, possibly due to the ring having been re-sized at some point historically.
Overall this fine quality ring is in great condition for a piece that is approx\' 140 years old, with expected wear commensurate with age and as shown in the detailed photographs provided - however nothing that detracts from what is a gorgeous & highly desirable Victorian Ring.
