Elegant Antique (Victorian, 19th century) black velvet cape..... mourning, evening, or opera wear. Ties at the neckline, loop in the back with a unique tail-that drapes, rushed gathers along the neckline and along each side. Fully lined with silk. It is in excellent condition....there is a small bite in the shoulder, and a couple minor areas of soiling-on the back loop and the lining (as shown). This has not been laundered. ~The velvet is very soft and plush~ Enlarge photos for detail.

There is no label or size in this cape. Back shoulder to shoulder it measures approx 24\" across, length is from the back loop on the neckline to bottom of cape is 35.5\" long.

Please note these measurements are taken on the outside of the garment. It is always best to compare to a garment you own that fits you.
