A stunning Victorian 9ct Gold Foiled Garnet & Pearl Cluster Ring, which dates to c1860. Typical of the period the ring is unmarked but it is guaranteed to be made from solid 9ct Gold(please see the detailed close-upphotographs provided, which form an integral part of the item\'s description).
This wonderful mid 19th Century ring, which weighs 3.1 grams, has a reeded shank and trifurcated shoulders with central twist detail leading to the fabulous Foiled Garnet & Pearl set rectangular bezel, which measures approx\' 13mm high by approx\' 15mm wide. It is centrally set with a beautiful foiled back Garnet (approx\' 6.0mmm by 7.5mm) surrounded by seventeen Pearls to create a ring that is simply sublime.
Overall the ring is in great condition for a ring that is approx\' 155 years old; commensurate with age there have been a couple of historic repairs to the back of the bezel & to a shoulder where they have beenstrengthened, asshown.
The ringis sized at a UK Ring Size \'N\', which equates to a US Ring Size \'6 3/4\'; as with almost all antique rings the band is slightly ovalized i.eit is not perfectly round and it measures slightly differently on the gaugedepending on how it is positioned, however this will not affect the ring whenworn.
In summary, a stunning Victorian9ct Gold Foiled Garnet & Pearl Cluster Ring, which dates to c1860- it is quite simply sublime.
