This is a gorgeous piece of 1800\'s history. This armoire wardrobe could be polished or painted and be a beautiful object of beauty in your home. The wardrobe has 2 doors with hinges intact. The lock is still mounted on the door, but is missing the part on the other side that actually locks. Instead, someone who had this mounted two plastic knobs to close it and they really should be removed to preserve the beauty of this piece of furniture. When you open the doors, there is a sturdy bar for clothing and a shelf above for storage of items, like hats. Below is a pull-out drawer which is solid and pulls out easily with drawer pulls, original to this piece. On the top of the armoire is a beautifully carved finial which is loose, but could be tightened up. The back of the wardrobe is intact, as shown by the photo.

Inside measurements: shelf, 13 1/2 inches of space; bar to floor, 50 inches, width, 43 inches, deep 15 inches
