A wonderful Victorian Art Nouveau 9ct Gold Peridot & Seed Pearl set Holbein (Pendant/Brooch) dating to 1895(please study the detailed close-up photographs, which form an integral part of the item\'s description).
This stunning Holbein is centrally set by a millegrain set Pearl flanked by two beautiful oval Peridots that are similarly set in collets with millegrain edges - all surrounded by Seed Pearls in ornate foliate settings within an Art Nouveau inspired stylized \'heart shaped\' openwork design. The Pendant/Brooch terminates with a pear shaped Peridot Drop in a millegrain setting, which complements the central stones perfectly.
Typical of the period this gorgeous antique Brooch/Pendant is stamped \'9ct\' on the reverse, as shown, confirming that it is made from solid 9ct Gold. Overall it is in great condition and comes complete with a good hinge, pin and clasp.
As previously mentioned this fine antique Holbein can be worn as either a Brooch, or as a Pendant, just as you desire, and it has the following dimensions: length approx\' 4.1cms by a width of approx\' 3.0cms and it weighs 4.1 grams.
In summary, this is a wonderful Art Nouveau 9ct Gold Holbein dating to c1895, set with gorgeous Peridot gemstones and fine Seed Pearls - just sublime.
