We are pleased to be able to offer this Antique Victorian Enameled Porcelain Portrait Plate with a Brass Repousse Embossed Round Frame. This portrait plate is unusual in that it is of a Young Prince/Royalty & usually portrait plates are of Victorian women. I wish I knew who this prince was supposed to be ~ because obviously he was a from a family of royalty & influence. The actual plate has a diameter of approx. 6\" & the repousse frame has a diameter of about 8\". This plate has an incised back stamp number of \"140\" & nothing else that I can see. I did not try to remove it from its frame because it is clipped in very securely & so I left it as it is. It is in immaculate gorgeous condition with no problems anywhere & the colors are so vivid & pure.
