Antique Victorian GOLDEN CITRINE RING In Sterling Silver, Sz7.75, Marks:
$26.00

Beautiful Citrine ring from the early 1900s. The gemstone, which has tested positive as natural citrine, is a warm honey color with an interesting cut. The north to south facets on the top of the stone give it a dome profile.
The Sterling Silver (tested) setting is typical of late Victorian rings with a cut-out basket and etched fan designs on the shoulders. The citrine is set with triple and double claw prongs.
There is a makers mark inside the shank. The letters P and M inside a rectangle are clear cut but there\'s an illegible symbol or letter preceding the PM. We\'re still researching this mark and will post additional information if we find any.
The ring is a US Size 7.75 and can be resized by your jeweler.
The honey citrine measures approximately 14.5mm L x 10mm W. The color is well saturated - a warm golden honey.
Weight of the ring is 1.88 grams.
Condition is very fine, with light wear expected in a ring from this period. The citrine shows some wear around the edges. No chips, breaks or cracks.
