Presented for your consideration is this magnificent, elegant, antique,Victorian, footed standing beveled glass, gold ormolu & filigree Frenchcasket jewelry or watch box, rococo style with guilloche edges in near round pentagonal shape,c 19th century.

At time of listing, we have 5 similar styles available, plus a perfumer– all different shapes and sizes (3 large and 2 small) from the same estate, inpentagon, oval, square, heart, and rectangle

In phenomenal vintage condition, with no broken or chipped glass on anyof the one large and 5 small beveled glass panels, thick cushioned pillow invery nicely maintained tan color with no rips but a bit of discoloration aroundedges, and rear hinge is a bit loose (perhaps not original pin SEE LAST PHOTO), commensurate witha age and fine care atop a vanity
Absolutely magnificent attention to detail and design, with a stunningaged patina, ornate openrococo stylefiligree sides, guilloche edges allaround, beveled glass, and finished with balled feet at bottom – a fabulousexample of quality workmanship not seen today
Measures 3 ¼” High with feet x 4 ¾” Wide at widest point between twocurves of heart x 5 ½” Deep from rear hinge to front handle
