Description
Wonderful antique Victorian black corded fabric mourning cape or pelerine, which has heavily jet glass beadwork to the hem, with deep lace panel to the bottom edge. The cape fastens via a row of blackened steel hooks and eyes.

CONDITIONThe cape in a good condition, although there is an old patch repair and a small tear to one shoulder. There is also wear, holes and thread pulls to the lace trim, plus considerable fraying and loss to the lining fabric.
