This is an Antique Victorian Micro Beaded Purse Hand Bag with a Metal Frame & Chain.The bag measures approx 9 inches tall by 6.5\" inches wide at center. IThe strap drop of the chain is approximately 6 inches. It has a double ball closure, adorned with small pale blue cabachons.The bag is gorgeous, but has its condition issues. There are sections along the top edges and upper sides where the fabric separated from the frame and some beads had fallen off. On one side the fabric backing has been restitched to connect it better to the frame. I did not do this repair, it was done before I bought the bag, many years ago. The other side that is not stitched is separating from the frame as you can see in the photo. I am not making this repair and selling the bag as is.The inside Fabric also clearly shows its age and they can be seen clearly in the photo. I have had this bag for a long time, and have not used it for fear of losing more beads. While the beads do not come off in handling, the age and rare bead pattern of the piece have always made me treat it extremely gently and I would advise same!
