Victorian brass needle case. Used to keep sewing needles - the size of the needle is shown in the embossed ovals on one side of the \"accordian\". Once the carrier was folded and then the two ends closed with the tabs, all the needles and pins were totally secure. Beatrice design and marked Patent on the other end.
In brass with beautiful engraving, both on the outside and the inside, this is a rare piece and it will be shipped with insurance.
