Beautiful Victorian cape. Very ornate ribbon or soutache work over netting. In good condition for age. Some tears in the netting but not much. Most noticeably at the 2 front hook and eyes. There are small stitches that appear throughout from the trim work. The ribbon work is amazing. Very good condition. Appears to be all intact (may have missed a spot). The lining is in good condition with minimal wear. Some pin holes, and seperations (silk). This may need a sticky roller or light brushing. I have not cleaned this in any way. It has been stored exactly how I received it.
Overall very good for its age.
Very nice and well made. The collar is thick and strong like the ribbon trims. Measures approx 21.5\" down center front and 23.5\" center back. One of the best pieces I have had. Very nicely weighted. Please ask if any questions.
