This is a gorgeous antique bell. An authentic Victorian period piece. NOT a reproduction or vintage piece. Written around the top is \"Patent March 29th 1894\". It is a solid brass and cast iron counter top or desk service bell for a hotel or office. From the quality and design I would say an upscale business or hotel. It is in working condition with a great sound. Cast iron mounted base under neath the brass. Nice beaded design around the base. Measures approx. 5-1/2\" by 3-1/2\". See condition below.
