Antique Victorian cluster ring. 15k gold, garnets and pearls. Made in England circa 1860 - 1880.

Measurements: Weighs 3.0 grams. US ring size a little over 6.5. Length of bezel is approximately 19mm.

Classic cluster ring with a central, oval garnet, very gently faceted giving a flat, cushion-like appearance. Surrounded by a ring of pearls and then an outer ring of round garnets, similarly cut to the center, which look like petals of a flower. Garnets are colletee set and backs are closed. The shank with forked openwork shoulders, is chased with flowers and foliage in a riot of organic design that echoes the flower theme of the bezel. All parts are beautifully and very solidly made, making this a luxurious example of this kind of ring. Perfect as a gift especially an engagement or anniversary present.

Marks: no marks were found, but we acid tested the gold to ensure metal purity.

Condition: good with negligible wear commensurate with age. Please see enlarged pictures and don\'t hesitate to ask questions which we will do our best to answer.
