Thank you for looking atthis outstanding antique egg cruet setwith 6 silver spoons and 6 Sheffield cups with a strong gold wash. I can not find a hallmark. This beautiful set probablydates from Early to mid1800\'s.The cups upper rim and the basket havefashionable gadroon borders and the stand has ball feet. Measures about 7.5\" wide by 5.25\" wide by 7\" tall. The 6 cups are quite beautiful with an intense gold wash interior and stand about 2+3/4\" tall. The spoons are old, hand made with slight variations averaging about 4.5\"as shown in last 2 photos. This Sheffield set is quite substantial,one cup alone weighs 3+ 1/2 ounces. I could find no hallmark other than one spoon, which may be an addition,and I can not make it out. There is minor wear of the gold wash upper rim, but not bad at all considering the age. The spoons are intriguing,probably coin silver however they have not been tested.
