This is a superb antique Victorian hallmarked sterling silver teapot weighing 762 grams and measuring 11 1/4\" (29 cms) across from handle to tip of spout x 7\" (18 cms) tall to the top of the lid and the whole thing is in excellent condition - any marks you can see are just reflections from the photographs. It has the silversmiths mark for Samuel Hayne & Daniel Cater and is hallmarked for London 1847. This lovely teapot is nice and clean inside making it perfectly usable and it holds 2 1/2 pints. It has lovely engraving all round and has a flower finial on the top!
